Lee Ki-won, professionally known as Kiggen, was born on March 13, 1979, in Tajimi, Japan, and grew up in Busan, South Korea. Kiggen is a multifaceted artist, serving as a rapper, singer, lyricist, composer, and record producer. He gained prominence as a member of the South Korean hip hop group Phantom and later became the president of the Brand New Music label, Korean Roulette. Kiggen's musical journey began with the release of his debut studio album Pianissimo on November 27, 2007, under Gap Entertainment and NHN Entertainment. While the album did not chart, it showcased his early talent. Over the years, Kiggen continued to release music, including his 2016 extended play Song For the Night, which peaked at No. 84 on the Korean charts. His EPs Cloudy (2017), The Piano (2018), and Lakulaku Bed (2019) further solidified his presence in the South Korean music industry, despite not charting. Kiggen is known for his collaborations with a wide range of artists, including Jinsil of Mad Soul Child, Hanhae, Basick, Suran, and Solar.
