Biography

LA Young (Gonzalo Catalina Vegas), originally from Spain, first captured widespread attention with his viral breakout single “Como Estrellas” in 2019, a self-released track that surged on social media, earned double platinum certification, and topped Spain’s viral charts with over 100 million streams. He followed up in 2020 with the introspective “Diles Lo Que Quiero” and then in 2021 with the heartfelt “Para Siempre,” both showcasing his lyrical depth and emotional delivery. In 2022, he released “Tesorito de Dios” with Calero LDN, adding to his growing repertoire of soulful rap and R&B-inflected singles. LA Young maintained a prolific output in 2023 with several standout releases—including “A Mi Vera,” “Mi Superestrella,” “Tú,” and "Interestelarmúsica 1"—demonstrating his versatility and appeal across both digital platforms and Latin urban playlists. In March 2025, he unveiled the single “Que Me Lleve El Aire,” an urban-flavored track that marked his return to the scene.
