Biography
Natos y Waor are a Spanish hip-hop duo from Madrid. Formed by MCs Fernando âWaorâ Hisado and Gonzalo âNatosâ Cidre, the pair first met each other during rap freestyle battles in 2010 and bonded over their mutual love for hip-hop. Their first album Por la Jeta arrived in 2011 and made quite an impact on Madridâs booming rap scene. Over the course of the next few years, they went on to release a string of critically-acclaimed albums such as Catarsis (2012), Hijos de la Ruina (2012), Caja Negra (2014), Martes 13 (2015), Hijos de la Ruina Vol. 2 (2016), and Cicatrices (2018). A third volume of their Hijos de la Ruina series came out in 2021, spawning the single âMás Alcohol,â which climbed to Number 62 on Spainâs Promusicae charts. They also cultivated a large online fanbase, accumulating over 80,000 subscribers on their video streaming channel, and performed at some of Spainâs most popular venues, such as Barcelonaâs Sala Apolo, Madridâs Palacio Vistalegre, and Zaragozaâs Ciudad Hip Hop Festival.
