Peder LosnegÃ¥rd, known professionally as Lido, was born on October 26, 1992, in Norway and is a musician, record producer, singer, and songwriter. He began his career as a drummer before transitioning to songwriting and playing the piano. In 2005, under the name Lil'P, LosnegÃ¥rd participated in Melodi Grand Prix Junior. His breakthrough came with the single "Different" in 2011, which became NRK P3's most played song of the year. LosnegÃ¥rdâs debut album Pretty Girls & Grey Sweaters was released in February 2012 and won him the Edvard prize for popular music. He then focused on production, executive producing Halseyâs debut album Badlands. In October 2016, Lido released his first album under his current name, Everything, through Because Music. Notable collaborations include work with Chance the Rapper on "Same Drugs" and "Angels", which were part of Chance's Grammy Award-winning album Coloring Book in 2016.
