Biography

Kyle Bobby Dunn, born in Calgary, Mississauga, Ontario, is a Canadian composer and performer of ambient and drone-based music. American label Sedimental released Fragments & Compositions of Kyle Bobby Dunn in 2008, followed by Dunn's EP Fervency in 2009. In 2010, Dunn released the double album A Young Person's Guide to Kyle Bobby Dunn. It was followed by Ways of Meaning (2011), which incorporated guitar, organ, and electronic processing in more concise compositions. He released another double album, Bring Me the Head of Kyle Bobby Dunn, in 2012. Dunn expanded his work into a three-hour album, Kyle Bobby Dunn and the Infinite Sadness, in 2014. After a five-year hiatus, he returned with From Here to Eternity in 2019 and later released Mixture of Frailties in 2025.
