Biography
Kyau & Albert, the German trance duo comprising Ralph Kyau and Steven Moebius Albert, emerged from Germany's electronic scene after Ralph's early production work beginning in 1990 and a joint debut single "Let Me In" in 1996. The pair formalized their partnership under the name Kyau & Albert in 2006, following a period of collaboration as Kyau vs. Albert. Their first studio album Here We Are Now was released in 2004, establishing the duo's presence and earning regular placements in DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 lists from 2007 to 2010. Subsequent releasesâincluding Worldvibe(2006), Nights Awake (2013), Distant Lights (2015), Matching Stories (2017), Neverlost (2018), and All in Good Time(2024)âwere distributed through labels such as Euphonic, Anjunabeats, and later their own imprint. Notable collaborations include "Anphonic" with Above & Beyond and "Calming Rain" with Maria Nayler, cementing their reputation within the trance genre.
