His musical journey began in the early 2000s, kindling his interest in the thriving club scene. His competence led him to a three-year residency at Bahaus and further engagements at prestigious clubs in Lisbon such as Kapital, Tamariz, and Gossip. KURA's music production began with a successful bootleg of Sidney Samson's "Work It," crossfading into Bob Marley's work. His first original track, "Russian Guitar," received acclamation and was signed by Portuguese label, Kaos Records. His career took an international flight with the track "Brazil," garnering the attention of renowned DJ Roger Sanchez. Further endorsements arrived from Thomas Gold, who showcased KURA's hits "Polaris" and "Love Will Find You" on his radio show. In 2012, he joined the ranks of Swiss-based WDB Management. Lyghtspeed, his debut EP, came out in 2019. In 2023, he reached Number 123 on the Portuguese charts with the song "Sentir Saudade."
