Kuase Nada is a Brazilian band formed in 1997 in BrasÃlia, blending genres such as reggae, rock, hip-hop, and ska. The group was founded by Felipe Fernandes ("Maguin") and Philippe Figueiredo ("Naite"), inspired by the characters "Tripa Seca" and "Kuase Nada" from the TV series Chapolin Colorado. In 2000, VinÃcius Daemon ("Vinikão") joined as the guitarist, and in 2001, Rafael da Matta ("Atol") became the percussionist. Their debut demo, No Mato Sem Cachorro, was released in 1999, featuring tracks like "De Borest," which became one of their most recognized songs. The band's energetic performances led them to participate in various events in BrasÃlia, including the Festa Junina do UniCeub and the Festival da Geologia da UnB. After a hiatus starting in 2007, the members pursued other projects. Maguin joined bands such as Os Mocambos and Surf Sessions. The band reunited in 2015 and released the single "Mais Um Dia" in 2017. In 2020, they re-released "De Borest" as "De Borest 20 Anos" and launched the EP Apesar de Tudo, which included re-recorded and new tracks. The band concluded its activities in 2020.
