Biography

KSU are a Polish punk rock band from Ustrzyki Dolne formed in 1977. The group was established by five teenagers and adopted their name in 1978 from the vehicle registration code for the Krosno region. They achieved professional recognition following a performance at the 1980 national New Wave rock festival in Kołobrzeg. Their recording career includes the studio albums Pod prąd (1988) and Ustrzyki (1990). During the 1990s, they issued the studio recordings Moje Bieszczady (1993) and Na 15-lecie! (1994). The ensemble celebrated their thirtieth anniversary with the acoustic studio recording XXX-lecie, Akustycznie (2008), which incorporated both older tracks and new material. Their discography includes the studio recording Dwa narody (2014).
