Kristin "Krista" Siegfrids, born on December 4, 1985, in Kaskinen, Finland, is a Finnish singer. She gained initial recognition by participating in the first season of The Voice of Finland in 2011, reaching the semi-finals. In 2013, she represented Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden with "Marry Me", finishing 24th out of the 26 countries in the final. Her performance sparked controversy in Turkey and China due to a lesbian kiss. Following her Eurovision appearance, Siegfrids released her debut album Ding Dong! in 2013 and the single "Cinderella" in 2014. She participated in Sweden's Melodifestivalen in 2016 with "Faller" and in 2017 with "Snurra min jord". In 2015, she served as Finland's spokesperson for the Eurovision Song Contest. Siegfrids presented Finland's national selection show Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu from 2016 to 2020. Other single releases included "Amen!" (2013), "Can You See Me?" (2013), and "On & Off" (2015).
