Biography

Swedish singer-songwriter Staffan Olsson, known professionally as Bosson, was born on February 21, 1969, in Kiruna, Sweden. His stage name derives from his father's first name, Bo. Bosson initially gained national attention in Sweden by imitating Michael Jackson during the first season of Sikta mot stjärnorna, performing "Black or White" and winning his semi-final. Bosson's breakthrough as a solo artist came with the release of "One in a Million", from the album One In A Million (2001). The song became a Top 10 hit across Europe and Asia, also appearing in the film Miss Congeniality. It was nominated for a Golden Globe. Following this success, Bosson released the album Rockstar in 2003. He competed in Melodifestivalen with "Efharisto" in 2004 but did not advance beyond the second round. In June 2007, he released his fourth album Future's Gone Tomorrow / Life Is Here Today, followed by Best of 11-Twelve in June 2013. Bosson has also served as an opening act for Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue, and written songs for artists such as Amy Grant and Al Di Meola. His extensive tours have included performances in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, where he achieved significant success.
