Kristen Lynn Stora, known professionally as Krissy Nordhoff, was born on June 24, 1974, in Allegan, Michigan. She is an American musician specializing in worship music. Nordhoff's musical career began with the release of her debut studio album Thank Him on November 1, 2004, via ICC Records. Her second studio album, Downpour, followed on September 10, 2007, also through ICC Records. Nordhoff achieved significant recognition for her songwriting, notably winning a GMA Dove Award for Worship Song of the Year at the 43rd GMA Dove Awards in 2012 for "Your Great Name", performed by Natalie Grant on her album Love Revolution.
