Biography
Kracker, an American rock band, was formed in South Florida in 1970. The group moved to Chicago and recorded their debut album La Familia, released on ABC Dunhill in 1972. Their single "Because of You (The Sun Don't Set)" reached number 104 on the Billboard Bubbling Under chart. The following year, Kracker's second album, Kracker Brand, was produced and released by ABC Dunhill, with distribution outside the United States handled by Rolling Stones Records. In 1973, Kracker toured Europe as the opening act for the Rolling Stones. The band's members included Victor Angulo on guitar and vocals, Art Casado on drums and vocals, Carl Driggs on lead vocals and percussion (died 2017), Chuck Francour on lead vocals and keyboards (died 2022), and Carlos Garcia on bass and vocals (died 2019).
