Kousokuya, a Japanese dark psychedelic rock band, was founded in the late 1970s by guitarist Jutok Kaneko. The group initially gained traction within Tokyo's underground music scene. Their debut album, å æå¤, was released in 1990 and marked their first significant recording. In 1995, they released a live album titled Ray Night 1991-1992 Live. Kousokuya continued to release albums such as The Dark Spot (1997) and Live Gyakuryu Kokou (2004), showcasing their evolving sound. The band's lineup saw several changes over the years, with notable members including Ikuro Takahashi on drums and Mick on bass. Kaneko passed away on January 24, 2007.
