Biography

Knucklehead was a Canadian punk rock group formed in Calgary, Alberta, in 1994 by Clayton MacNeill on guitar, Matt Young on bass, and Kyle Hegel on drums and vocals. Their first show took place at The Night Gallery in Calgary in 1995, followed by the release of their debut demo tape that same year. In 1996, Knucklehead released their first full-length studio album, Another Neurotic Episode, on Melodiya Records. After touring extensively across Canada and the United States, they were signed to Far Out Records in 1998, releasing the self-titled 7" single and their second full-length studio album, Little Boots. The band continued to release albums, including Voice Among Us (2001), Hostage Radio (2002), The New Black List (2005), and Hearts on Fire (2010).
