Klez.e, a post-punk, new wave, and dark wave band from Berlin, Germany, was formed in 2002. The group consisted of Tobias Siebert (vocals, guitar, bass), Filip Pampuch (drums), Daniel Moheit (bass, keyboard), Christian Schöfer (guitar, electronics), and Patrick Vollperg (guitar, keyboard). Their debut album Leben Daneben was released in 2004. The band's music initially blended independent pop-rock with occasional electronic elements. In 2006, they released their second album Flimmern, which was included in Spiegel Onlineâs selection of the year's most important albums. Klez.e collaborated on a theater production for Emmanuel Guibert's Alans Krieg at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin in 2011. After a hiatus, they returned with the album Desintegration in 2017, marking a shift towards a darker sound influenced by new wave and post-punk. The album was named Album of the Week by ByteFM.
