Klassik Escobar is a Jamaican-American singer of Caribbean music, specializing in soca. His energetic, powerful vocals, combined with a gentle soca vibe, create a unique and radiant style. Klassik Frescobar's musical influence began in the early 1990s in his hometown of Kingston, Jamaica, in the Constant Spring Gardens neighborhood. After picking up his mother's cassette recorder and listening to early tracks by Bounty Killa, Sean Paul and Beanie Man, he turned to music. After emigrating to the Bronx in New York, Klassik Escobar devoted most of his time to creating rap, while staying close to his roots by frequenting local dancehall parties. Along the way, he forged relationships with local DJs and producers, including Ricky Blaze, a Brooklyn native who, like himself, hails from Jamaica. In 2014, he moved to Miami, where he worked closely with Guyanese rapper Red Cafe, who introduced him to local DJs and party scenes. After much hard work and thought, the singer made a name for himself on the Miami soca scene with the tracks "Boom", "Bee Sting" and "Chair" in 2019. In 2020, he signed the viral track "Looking Good (Code Red Riddim)", propelled on social networks by the #LookingGoodChallenge, which accumulated over three million views. The challenge encouraged dancers around the world to record themselves dancing to the song. Highly prolific, Klassik Escobar subsequently released the singles "Like Dat Remix" with GBM Nutron (2021), "Too Much" with Marzville (2021), "Eye Watch" (2022), "Make Contact" (2022), "Pose" (2023), "Bigman" (2023), "Instruction Time" (2024) and "Choppa Slide" (2024). Also in 2024, he collected no less than seven tracks on the Bronxghanistan EP, followed in 2025 by Sal Gason and the hit "Dansa", which reached No. 21 in the overseas charts.
