Biography
Mikayla Simpson, who goes by the name Koffee, is a singer and rapper from Jamaica who learned to play guitar as a child, won a local talent competition and studied music at school. She has released several singles including 'Legend' and 'Burning' in 2017 and 'Raggamuffin' and 'Toast' in 2018, before signing a recording contract with Columbia Records UK. Her debut EP, 'Rapture', topped Billboard's Reggae Chart upon its release in April 2019, with singles including the title track, 'Throne' and 'Blazin''. Her 2019 schedule was to include appearances at venues in Miami, Berkeley, Monterey and New York in America plus shows in Trinidad, Malta, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Canada.
