Biography

Khady is a French singer whose powerful voice blends influences from R'n'B, soul and pop. She grew up in France to the rhythm of ballads by Beyoncé, Jazmine Sullivan and Demi Lovato, nurturing her musical ambitions from an early age. In 2014, she stood out at the Sankofa Soul Contest, where she reached the final. This experience opened the doors to the Paris soul scene and led her to perfect her art. She then joined Florent Pagny's team in The Voice France, which raised her public profile. At the same time, she multiplied her stage performances and refined her artistic identity, culminating in the release of her first EP Origami in 2019, supported by the single Fierté. In it, she explores themes of emancipation, acceptance and self-esteem against a backdrop of contemporary soul and R'n'B sounds. Khady continues her journey with singles such as Don't Kill My Vibe (2020), Je pars (2023) and DTR (2024), the fruit of her collaboration with composer Rick Allison and producer Lucatheproducer. She also performs on stage as the lead singer of the musical Black Legends, playing iconic roles such as Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston. Khady's personal songwriting and vocal mastery have established her as a singular voice on the French soul scene.
