Luke Francis Vibert, born on January 26, 1973, in Redruth, Cornwall, United Kingdom, is a British musician known for recording under numerous aliases, including Wagon Christ, Plug, Amen Andrews, and Kerrier District. His musical journey began as a member of the group Hate Brothers. Vibert's early influences included early hip-hop and the music of Prince. He gained early recognition with the release of Weirs (1993), which was produced in collaboration with Jeremy Simmonds. His breakthrough came with the album Big Soup (1997), released under his own name on James Lavelle's Moâ Wax label. Other notable works include collaborations such as Stop The Panic (1999) with pedal-steel guitarist B.J. Cole.
