Kate Alexa Gudinski, born on March 2, 1988, in Melbourne, Australia, is a pop-rock singer-songwriter. She began her music career at age 13 by writing her first song and later recording demos. In mid-2004, she signed with Liberation Music, her father Michael Gudinski's label. Her debut single "Always There" was featured in Channel 7âs series Home and Away during the 2004 Olympic Games, marking a significant breakthrough. Following this, she released her second single "My Day Will Come" in 2005 and her third single "All I Hear" on her 18th birthday in 2006, which peaked at number nine on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart. Her debut album Broken & Beautiful was released later that year. In 2007, Kate contributed to the soundtrack of the television series H 2 O: Just Add Water, and in 2008, she supported Cyndi Lauper on her national tour of Australia. After a hiatus, she returned with her second studio album Infatuation in 2012, which included singles like "X-Rated" and "I'm Falling".
