Biography
Karmamoi, an Italian progressive rock band formed in 2008, was led by Daniele Giovannoni. The group initially included vocalist Serena Ciacci, guitarists Fabio Tempesta and Alex Massari, and bassist Alessandro Cefalì. In 2009, Karmamoi released their first single "Venere," which garnered positive responses from radio stations and the public, leading to performances at festivals like JIMI Festival de Marne in Paris. Their debut album Karmamoi was released in 2011, accompanied by the video for "Vivo Desiderio." The band continued with notable releases such as the albums Odd Trip (2013), Silence Between Sounds (2016), and The Day Is Done (2018). Karmamoi's work has been recognized by Prog-Sphere as one of the 20 best Italian progressive rock bands. They released Strings From The Edge Of Sound in 2023.
