Biography
KARDI is a genre-defying mixed band from South Korea, formed during Super Band 2 on JTBC in 2021, where they secured third place. The band comprises leader and guitarist Hwang Leen, vocalist Yeji Kim, Geomungo player Daul Park, and bass player Hwang Ingyu. Known for blending traditional Korean instruments with modern rock and pop elements, KARDI has released several impactful works, including the EP Chil (2022), featuring the hit "WatchOut," their first full-length album Inside Out (2023), and standout singles like "City of Wonder" (2023) and "Winter's Glow" (2024). Their latest release, the EP No Doubt (2024), continues their tradition of innovative music. Despite lineup changes, such as the 2023 departure of drummer Seongbae Jeon, KARDI remains active.
