Born Kim Jung-mo on 26 March 1985 in Seoul, South Korea, the musician, singer, songwriter, and actor known as Jungmo got his start as a member of South Korean rock troupe TRAX in 2004 and went on to form the pop-rock duo Kim Heechul & Kim Jungmo in the 2010s before going solo. He broke with his long-term label home of SM Entertainment and released his debut single, "Peach (ë³µìì) (featuring Henry)," in 2019. After inking a deal with PA Entertainment, he released second single "If It Was Me," a soaring synth-pop heartbreaker, and a string of genre-blurring singles followed in its wake. 2022 saw the release of "Make it Right" (ë¤ê° ìëë©´ ìë¼) while "Marionette" (ë§ë¦¬ì¤ë¤í¸) arrived in 2023.
