Biography

Kapatid, a Filipino rock band formed in 2003 in Quezon City, Philippines, initially consisted of Nathan Azarcón on bass, J-Hoon Balbuena on drums, Ira Cruz on rhythm guitar, and late musician Chico Molina on lead guitars. Kapatid's debut self-titled album Kapatid (2003) featured hits such as "Prayer", "Pagbabalik ng Kwago", and "Visions". Over the years, the band faced numerous challenges, including the premature death of a member. Despite these obstacles, Kapatid continued to evolve, with notable members including Paolo Rosal on drums, Anjones Elemos on guitar, and Karl Roy on vocals, who passed in 2012. Their second album Luha was released in 2006.
