Biography
Kaleida is an EnglishâGerman electroâpop duo from London, England, consisting of vocalist Christina Wood and keyboardist Cicely Goulder. The pair met in 2013 via a mutual friend, and after initial demos of "Think" and "Tropea" were released online, the duo signed with Lex Records in December 2014, launching their debut EP Think on 6â¯Aprilâ¯2015; the title track was later featured on the Johnâ¯Wick soundtrack in 2014. In 2016, the second EP Detune followed, accompanied by the singles "Detune" and "It's Not Right". The duoâs first fullâlength album, Tear the Roots, arrived on 15â¯Septemberâ¯2017, followed by Odyssey on 28â¯Augustâ¯2020; both albums expanded their presence on television and film soundtracks, including Atomicâ¯Blonde and Netflix series such as Wuâ¯Assassins. In 2024, Inâ¯Arms was released, marking their continued output under Lex Records. The group has maintained a steady presence in the electronic music scene, with tracks regularly featured in media and a growing catalog of singles and collaborations.
