Isimeme Naomi Udu, born 16 November 1998 in Raleigh, North Carolina, is an American singer known professionally as Hemlocke Springs. She began creating music in high school with GarageBand and later earned a B.S. in biology from Spelman College before completing an M.S. in medical informatics at Dartmouth College. Her breakthrough came with the selfâproduced single "Gimme All Ur Luv" in May 2022, which surpassed a million streams on Spotify, followed by the alternative hit "Girlfriend" in November 2022. In 2023 she released the EP Goingâ¦Goingâ¦Gone! and toured as an opening act for Muna and Ashnikko. The debut studio album The Apple Tree Under the Sea was released on 13 February 2026, with the artist signed to Dreamshop Management and OTM Music in late 2024.
