Biography

Caleb Benjamin Stewart, known professionally as Kaleb Stewart, was born on June 9, 1975, in Talkeetna, Alaska. He was an American musician and vocalist. He began his musical career in Tampa, Florida, forming bands like The Sarx and Southpaw. In 1998, he joined As Friends Rust as a bass guitarist and backing vocalist until 2000. Stewart later performed with The Sheryl Cro(w) Mags (later renamed Cro(w)s) and Goodnight at the End of the Tunnel. Beginning in 2000, he released solo material under his own name and adopted the moniker Grey Goose for a post-hardcore project that included his brother Levi Stewart. After a hiatus from 2005 to 2015, he resumed his solo career, releasing the EP All Lo Fi on the Southern Front (2018) and the album Tropical Depression (2018). He promoted these releases with five European tours before passing away on March 25, 2021.
