Kadeho, a rock band from Costa Rica, formed in Puntarenas during the 1990s as Praxis. The group evolved into Kadeho in 1999 with Jorge Zumbado (Mechas) as lead vocalist, incorporating elements of tropical and criolla music into their rock sound. Their debut album, En Tierra Sukia, was released in 2001 under the DDM label. The band won ACAM awards for Production Musical del Año in Rock and Compositor y Autor Musical del Año that same year. Their second album, Hasta Que Vuelva a Amanecer, was released in 2004. Kadeho disbanded due to strategic disagreements but reunited in 2015 for the Festival Transitarte. They performed at notable events such as Rock Fest 2022 before going on an indefinite hiatus following allegations against Mechas.
