Biography
Born on October 21, 1979 in Libreville (Gabon), Kôba Building, whose real name is Ndong Ronny, is a Gabonese rapper. He began his career in 2003, collaborating with Fu-Gang Attitude. In 2005, he won the prize for Best African Artist at the Kora Awards in South Africa. The following year, he released his first album, Kriminel. The first single from the album is the song " Rien compris ", which is a hit on African radio stations. In 2007, he won the prize for best hip-hop artist of the year at the Balafons Music Award in Gabon. In 2012, Kôba Building launched his own clothing label, Ghettobling Editions , as well as his second opus, 2030. His third album, Black Roses, followed in 2018. The same year, he also launched the single " Odjuku ", in tribute to the victims of the 2016 post-election massacre in Gabon. In 2023, he presents his opus, L'Oeil, accompanied by its first single entitled " Tracklist ".
