The Junior Dagar Brothers, Nasir Zahiruddin and Nasir Faiyazuddin, were Indian classical singers born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. They were part of the 19th generation of the Dagarvani Dhrupad tradition, learning from their elder brothers, the Senior Dagar Brothers, after their father's death in 1936. Their musical career began in Delhi, where they continued the jugalbandi singing style following Nasir Moinuddin Dagarâs demise in 1967. The Junior Dagar Brothers took Dhrupad to international audiences in Europe, America, and Japan. In India, they formed the Dhrupad Society to promote the genre, inviting exponents from various gharanas. They trained many students, including Faiyaz Wasifuddin Dagar.
