JQ (Jeremy Quartus) is a Japanese singer-songwriter best known as the vocalist of the band Nulbarich, which he formed in 2016. That same year, the group released its debut full-length album Guess Who?, marking the start of JQâs presence in the Japanese music scene with a blend of pop, soul, and R&B influences. Alongside his work with Nulbarich, JQ has contributed as a songwriter, composer, arranger, and producer for other artists, drawing heavily from hip-hop, R&B, and various aspects of Black culture. His versatility extends to DJ performances, further showcasing his wide-ranging musical skills. In July 2025, JQ launched his solo project under his full name, Jeremy Quartus, as a platform to explore more personal and introspective themes, delving deeper into the essence of his expression. This new endeavor allows him to step away from the collaborative identity of Nulbarich and present music that reflects his individual perspective and artistic growth. The projectâs debut includes the track âBACK TO PARADISE", serving as a statement piece that blends his signature groove with a more intimate lyrical approach.
