Jorge Salán, born Jorge Salan on April 4, 1982, in Madrid, Spain, is a guitarist known for his work in hard rock and heavy metal. At 19 years old, he released his debut album The Utopian Sea of Clouds. Salán gained significant recognition as part of the Spanish bands Mägo de Oz from 2004 to 2008 and Avalanch since 2016. His solo career includes albums such as Chronicles Of An Evolution (2007) and Madrid/Texas (2015). Salán has collaborated with international artists like Jeff Scott Soto, Joe Lynn Turner, and Robin Beck. He has performed extensively worldwide, including notable concerts in Mexico City and at the San Javier Jazz Festival. In 2014, he signed with Rock Estatal Records for his album Madrid/Texas.
