Steven Nicholas Jolley and Tony Swain, known as Jolley & Swain, were a British record production and songwriting duo. They met in 1975 while working on The Muppet Show, forming the band Chaser that same year. Their first single "Red Rum" was released in 1975 as a tribute to the famous racehorse. In 1980, Jolley released a single and an album with the English Boys. The duo's breakthrough came in 1981 with Imagination's debut single "Body Talk" (1981), which they produced along with four subsequent albums for the group, including hits like "Just an Illusion" (1982) and "Music and Lights" (1982). They also produced notable works for Bananarama, Spandau Ballet, and Alison Moyet. In 1985, they released their own instrumental album Backtrackin', featuring the single "Soul Street".
