The trio was formed by guitarist Johnny Moore, pianist and vocalist Charles Brown, and bassist Eddie Williams, becoming one of the influential groups in the development of West Coast blues and rhythm and blues. They achieved their greatest success with the 1945 recording "Driftin' Blues."
