Biography
Johnny Madsen was a Danish musician, songwriter, and painter born in 1951. He began his musical career with early releases such as De tørre er de best... men vÃ¥de er de flest in 1982. Madsen was part of Dalton, a supergroup trio alongside Lars Lilholt and Allan Olsen, releasing an album with them in 1992. His solo albums include Udenfor sæsonen (1988), Nattegn (1989), and Madsens største â fyrre af de fede (1996). In addition to his music career, Madsen was a painter mostly inspired by expressionism and had his own art gallery on the island of Fanø called Madsens Galleri. He published the book Hvorom alting er in 2007. Johnny Madsen passed away in 2024.
