Joey DeAnn Cook, also known as Joey Cook, born on March 30, 1991, is an American singer-songwriter who began playing piano and singing at age five. She taught herself to play ukulele and guitar during high school. Cook's initial breakthrough came when she auditioned for the fourteenth season of American Idol, finishing seventh place. In 2013, she toured with indie rock band Mammoth Indigo. Cook self-published her first album, Hey, I Love You, on Bandcamp in 2012. She performed "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" during the Top 9 week of American Idol and collaborated with Postmodern Jukebox on several tracks, including "Hey There Delilah", "Sugar, We're Goin Down", "Say My Name", and "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked". Under the name Joey Cook and the Partyraddlers, she released Welcome to the Variety Show in 2016.
