Biography

Sterling Roswell, born in Rugby, Warwickshire, United Kingdom, and known as "Rosco", is a British multi-instrumentalist and artist. He joined Spacemen 3 in 1987 as a drummer. With Spacemen 3, he performed on the studio album The Perfect Prescription (1987) and the live album Performance (1988). After leaving Spacemen 3, Roswell joined The Darkside in 1989 alongside Pete Bain and recorded three albums with them. He moved to Rome, Italy, collaborating with filmmaker Massimo Di Felice before relocating to London. In the UK capital, he released an AAA-associated 'space pop' single on the Mint label subsidiary of Jungle Records. Roswell issued his solo album The Psychedelic Ubik (2004) under his own name on Mint/Jungle Records. His discography also includes producing the LP Transparency with Sky Saxon.
