Joanna Connor, born on August 31, 1962, in Brooklyn, New York, is an American blues singer-songwriter and guitarist. She began playing guitar at age seven and performed with local bands by 16. In 1984, Joanna Connor moved to Chicago, joining Johnny Littlejohn's band before forming her own group. Her debut album, Believe It!, was released in 1989 on Blind Pig Records. Joanna Connor gained recognition for her guitar skills and released several albums, including Fight (1992) and Big Girl Blues (1996). She performed extensively across the United States, Canada, and Europe.
