Biography

American rapper Jerrell C. Jones, aka J-Kwon, is best known for his 2004 debut single 'Tipsy'. The single, taken from the album 'Hood Hop', charted at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album made the same spot on the Billboard 200. The track earned him international recognition and he performed the single 'Get XXX'd' for the 2005 film 'XXX: State of the Union'. His 2008 single 'Boo Boo' was released from his second album, 'Hood Hop 2' with 'Hood Hop 2.5' a year later. After taking a short break, he released his fourth album, 'J-Kwon', in 2010.
