Jinder, born April 19, 1981, in Banbury, Oxfordshire, England, is a singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his dark folk- and country-influenced solo work. He formed the alternative rock band Candlefire in the late 1990s. The band's UK chart single "Sorrow Spreads Its Wings" was released by One Little Indian Records in 2002. Jinder left Candlefire to pursue solo work, releasing his debut album Willow Park in June 2005 on Folkwit Records. His subsequent albums include Iâm Alive (2006) and Twenty Four Hours (2007). In 2019, his single "Keep Me in Your Heart" reached the top 40 and was featured in the film Fisherman's Friends.
