Jill Anne Phillips, born February 15, 1976, in Chesapeake, Virginia, is an American musician known for her work in Contemporary Christian Music. After graduating from Belmont University in 1998, Phillips released her debut album Jill Phillips in 1999. Produced by Grammy Award-winning Wayne Kirkpatrick, the album marked a significant breakthrough. She toured with Caedmon's Call and Bebo Norman. In 2003, Phillips released Writing On The Wall, featuring collaborations with Andrew Peterson, Bebo Norman, and Stephen Mason of Jars of Clay. Phillips was signed by Fervent Records in 2003 and continued to release notable albums including Kingdom Come (2005) and Nobody's Got It All Together (2006). In 2006, Phillips founded the Square Peg Alliance with other independent Christian artists.
