Hailing from Togo, the Jey Liba duo has been around since 1998. The brainchild of two young dancers, Jey Liba is one of a number of groups injecting dance and rap into African music in large doses. Difficult economic conditions prevented the group from releasing an album before Dunia in 2006. This first album and its successor Vision in 2010 established Jey Liba's reputation at home and throughout West Africa.
