Jennifer Kathleen Hanson, born on August 10, 1973, in La Habra, California, is an American country music singer-songwriter and producer. Raised by road musician Larry Hanson and singer-songwriter Melody Vendrell Hanson, Jennifer Hanson's early life was deeply rooted in music. Her father toured with The Righteous Brothers and Bill Medley during the 1980s, while her mother was a singer-songwriter. In 2002, she made her artist debut with the release of her single "Beautiful Goodbye", which reached number 16 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in March 2003. Her self-titled debut album Jennifer Hanson followed that same year on Capitol Records and was critically acclaimed. In 2008, she released her second studio album Thankful on Universal South Records, which produced the singles "Joyride" and "73". As a songwriter, Jennifer Hanson has contributed to numerous artists, including Kelly Clarkson, Michelle Branch, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Billy Currington. She co-wrote the Number 1 Billboard singles "Leave The Pieces" for country duo The Wreckers and "Let Me Down Easy" for Billy Currington. Under the Tree, her first EP, was released in 2017.
