Biography

Jeffrey Craig "Jeff" Fenholt, born on September 15, 1950, in Ohio, was an American musician, singer, and actor. He achieved regional success with the single "Goin' Too Far" as part of The Fifth Order while still in high school. In 1971, Fenholt landed the lead role of Jesus in the original Broadway production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Following this breakthrough, Fenholt released several solo albums, including Sings The Sacred Classics (2001) and Jeff Fenholt Sings the Christmas Classics (2003). He also collaborated with notable figures in rock music. His conversion to Christianity led to significant ministry work, including global tours and television programs such as "Highway to Heaven" on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). Fenholt passed away on September 10, 2019.
