Jason Charles Lewis, also known as Jayce Lewis, was born on September 29,â¯1984, in Bridgend, Southâ¯Wales, and is a Welsh musician who began playing guitar at six and later incorporated drums, keyboards and vocals into a hybrid electroârock style. After selfâproducing the single "Icon" in 2009, which entered the Asian top ten and earned a contract with EMI Records Europe and Asia, he released his debut studio album Jayce Lewis in 2010. The album peaked at number 7 on the MâMusic Asian charts. Subsequent singles "Solitaire", "Passes II" and "Electric Medicine" were supported by music videos directed by himself. In 2011, he opened for Gary Numan on the Dead Son Rising UK tour, and later collaborated with Gary Numan on "Redesign" for the 2014 Protafield album Nemesis. His album Million Partâ¯I in 2017 and its 2018 followâup Million Partâ¯II were released under Universal, featuring guest appearances by Brian May and a spokenâword contribution from Richard Dawkins. Throughout his career, he has toured Europe, Asia and North America, maintained a partnership with manager David Prowse, and established Northstone Studios in Bridgend.
