Biography

Formed by a French singer and four experienced Belgian musicians, Applause's style is one of tormented alternative rock. Inspired by Radiohead and Jeff Buckley, without neglecting a touch of electro, Applause made a name for themselves with a number of support slots at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels. The track "The Lighthouse" received rave reviews on Radio Nova in February 2010. It appears on the Applause EP released in June 2010. Where It All Began in June 2011 marks Applause's big debut.
