Biography

Janno Gibbs (born on September 16, 1969, in Manila, Philippines) is a Filipino singer, actor, and comedian. Coming from a well-known entertainment family, Gibbs joined teen variety show That’s Entertainment in 1986, gaining popularity as a singer in the late 1980s with his debut single “Miss” appearing in 1988, with hit records Janno (1998) and platinum-certified Ipagpatawad (1990) emerging shortly after, cementing his status as a prominent Filipino performer. Gibbs went on to release another eleven albums, most notably Seven (2004), Little Boy (2007), ORIG (2009) and Nagbabalik (2018) which included a string of chart-topping hits including "Ikaw Lamang," (1999) "Fallin'," (2004) “If I’m Not in Love With You” (with Jennylyn Mercado) (2004) and “Get it On” (2018) and "Kung Hindi Susubukan" (2023). In June 2023, Gibbs and Mercado's 2004 hit song returned to the charts, where it reached number 45.
