Earl Agustin, a Filipino singer-songwriter from Ozamiz City, Misamis Occidental, first gained recognition in 2021 after appearing on a Coke Studio special. This performance led to his signing with Vicor Music. He released his debut single, "Dalangin," in February 2023, showcasing his blend of R&B and vintage soul, reminiscent of Arthur Nery's style. Agustin followed up with "Tapos Na" and "Tibok" within the same year. By 2024, he released "Dito Sa'kin" and "Aya," and in 2025, "Pag Ibig ng Ikaw at Ako," which combined 1980s synth with modern production.
