Sajeeb Saha, known professionally as Jai Wolf, born November 1, 1991 in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, is a Bangladeshi-American DJ and record producer. After moving to the United States as an infant, he attended Herricks High School and graduated from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study in 2013. He began producing electronic music in 2011 under the name No Pets Allowed, before adopting his current professional name in February 2014. He gained early recognition with bootleg remixes that topped the Hype Machine charts, leading to official remix work for artists such as Melanie Martinez, Alesso, Odesza, and Skrillex. In 2015, he released his debut single, âIndian Summerâ, which reached number 31 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart, entered the Triple J Hottest 100 in Australia, and achieved gold certification in both the United States and Australia. He followed this with the EP Kindred Spirits (2016), the single âStarlightâ (2017) featuring Mr Gabriel, and his debut studio album, The Cure to Loneliness (2019), which featured the singles âLose My Mindâ and âTelepathyâ. In June 2022, after releasing the collaborative track âWe Will Meet Againâ with San Holo, he became the first Bangladeshi artist to sell out a concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
